Trustee Hanna addressed parents who were concerned about children walking through the liquor store parking lot as they walk home from school.

Kids "should not be lingering without adult supervision," Hanna said.

The Woods wouldn't do anything to intentionally harm anyone, said Trustee Harkreader.

Still, "I think I see the potential for the perfect storm," Harkreader said. There's the school, the liquor store, vehicle traffic and pedestrian traffic.

"All these factors could lead to traumatic injury or death to a child," Harkreader said.
